This isn’t just any binocular tripod adapter! Sure, the Celestron RSR Binocular Tripod Adapter mounts to most any pair of binoculars and connects them to a camera tripod for hand’s free, steady viewing, but it also comes with a unique RSR Reflex Sight Rail that accepts a “red dot finder”! The RSR Binocular Tripod Adapter itself is simple yet effective design. The top part of the adapter threads into the tripod adapter port of most binoculars with a 1/4-20 bolt, and then the foot of the adapter connects to a standard photographic tripod via the tripod’s mounting screw. Most adapter ports are disguised by a “beauty cover” that is about the size of a nickel or dime, and it is normally located on the bridge of the binoculars between the two objective lenses.
